As a lesbian trans woman, this makes me wonder if I should prioritize my gender confirmation surgery. Other women might be more inclined to trust in a relationship with me if I’m guaranteed sterile. I’m most likely sterile now, after five years of hormones, but I may not be truly accepted without that added assurance.
