In related notes, THANK YOU!!!! This is exactly what I needed to hear today. It's been frustrating me no end, the idea of not having a special lady (I'm a lesbian) somewhere. I don't need something that's formalized or even exclusive; just someone to love and be loved by, once in a while. I ask for so little...but at least now, thanks to your words, I can answer the question "Is that too much to ask for?" with an unqualified "No!".
