I wouldn't call spreading propaganda in an attempt to subvert a dictator "misuse." On the other hand, I know Apple has to play the game of appeasing the CCP overlords if they want to continue selling iPhones in China. They should add something in the release notes for 16.2 that says, "Note: We are adding this feature under protest and under duress."
