I've never known how people manage to survive in NYC (being originally a California girl, now in Colorado); this gives me at least part of the story. Thanks for the insight.

(And I pay about as much as you do per month, but for a 2-bedroom, 2-bath, 1000-sq.ft. Denver apartment. Really puts things in perspective...)
