Many lesbian woman do have genital preferences. I had one flat-out tell me that she would never date a trans woman, because she didn't want P-in-V.

(Which is short-sighted in two particulars, when you think about it. For one thing, awfully bold of her to think I'm even capable of that, after five years on hormones. For another, do I not have fingers on my hands, and a tongue in my mouth, the same as any other woman?)

This makes for a compelling reason to get the surgery so I look like any other woman. But it's only one of many.
