On the one hand, Richard’s comment certainly addressed the issue when no one else had dared to speak up.

On the other hand, I can easily see this scenario ending with Richard losing his job because Rosalee filed a sexual harassment complaint with HR after hearing that comment. And Richard clearly didn’t take that possibility into account.
