To be honest, canceling Amazon Prime doesn’t make a lot of sense. There were 2.5 million Washington Post subscribers, so 200,000 cancellations were definitely significant. There are something like 200 million Amazon Prime subscribers, so even 200,000 cancellations are just pissing in the ocean.

Besides, Bezos isn’t CEO there anymore, and his ownership of Amazon only amounts to about 10%, so any impact a cancellation would have there is 90% “splash damage.”

I mean, if it makes you, personally, feel better to cancel Amazon Prime over this, don’t let me stop you. But Amazon isn’t even going to notice.
